A well as a good selection of facing bricks we keep a selection of commons and rejects which are ideal for infilling and for agricultural or garden use.
The reject bricks are normally classified as rejects on the basis of size (eg deviate from British Standard) or colour. They are normally as hard as standard facings.
Because we buy these in "job lots" we cannot guarantee continuity of type or colour. So you should carefully check what are available and and buy sufficient to complete your project.
HANSON ECOSTOCK BRICKS
These super facings pictured on the right (and others) are produced from Hanson's new state of the art factory at Measham. The bricks are called Ecostock as they use 50% of the energy traditionally used in brick manufacturing. This is achieved by recyling heat from the kilns, and many other innovative solutions.
