Cement
S R Cement
"S.R." stands for Sulfate Resisiting. SR Cement is used where ground conditions are aggressive and sulfate attack would cause normal concrete to disintegrate. It is mainly used on polluted ground or brownfield sites.
Stocks are kept in our Avonmouth branch which is close to many brownfield developments.

O.P. Cement
"O.P." stands for "Ordinary Portland" which refers to the most commonly available type of cement - referring back to when it was originally made using Portland Limestone.

Both branches stock Rugby Premium cement.
This is lighter in colour than the traditional dark Rugby Cement and is similar to Castle or Blue Circle.
It's ideal for general use in concreting, bricklaying, rendering etc.
